KennedyFitch is pleased to announce that Sophie Dopheide has joined as a People & Culture Consultant. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, Sophie brings ten years of experience across People strategy, organisational development, and HR operations, gained both in-house and in consulting. Her appointment strengthens KennedyFitch’s work with fast-growing organisations building the people foundations that support growth, change, and performance.

Ten Years Across In-House People & Culture and Consulting

Sophie has built her experience on both sides of the table: in-house in People & Culture roles, and as a consultant partnering with fast-growing organisations ranging from early-stage start-ups to international scale-ups.

Working across People strategy, organisational development, and day-to-day HR operations has given her a broad perspective on what it takes to build organisations where both people and the business can thrive. It also shapes how she works: combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and testing every solution against whether it will hold up in daily practice rather than only on paper.

Building HR Foundations and Operating Models That Enable Growth

Sophie’s particular strength is translating business ambitions into practical HR solutions — designing the HR foundations and operating models that allow an organisation to scale.

For growing companies, this is often the difference between structure that enables momentum and structure that quietly slows it down. She partners with founders, leaders, and HR teams on organisational effectiveness, performance, talent, and scalable People Operations, building the systems and ways of working that a company will still be able to use once it has doubled in size.

Making Culture Explicit

Sophie believes People & Culture has the greatest impact when it helps organisations grow without losing what makes them unique.

Much of her work involves making culture explicit: helping leaders articulate what their culture actually is, understand how it can become a genuine driver of success, and then bring it to life. In her view, a strong operating model is what turns culture from an ambition into everyday behaviours and ways of working — the structure that connects what an organisation says it values to how it actually operates.

A Partnership-Led Approach to People & Culture Consulting

Sophie’s view is that the best results come from true partnership, with trust, openness, and collaboration at the heart of the relationship.

She works alongside leaders and teams, combining an external perspective with a deep understanding of each organisation’s context, challenges, and ambitions. Her style is pragmatic, hands-on, and personal: asking the right questions, challenging when needed, and working together to turn ideas into practical solutions that create lasting impact. She sees herself as an extension of the team — bringing both strategic perspective and the energy to roll up her sleeves and make things happen.
