Practice: Consulting, Coaching & Executive Search
Based in: Switzerland
Languages: English, German

For 20 years, I am working as a People practice practitioner/leader with increasing responsibilities and a proven track record at local, regional, global and corporate levels. Exposed to hands-on and strategic HR work in Start-ups/Scale-ups/SMEs and “Blue Chips” from multiple industries (IT, Telecommunication, Healthcare, Fair) in both mature and hyper-growth markets/different regions.

In addition, I am lecturing on Leadership, Self-reflection and International HRM in Switzerland, I am co-author of books on Decision-making and was externally recognized for my work in the DE&I space (EDA nomination, D&I list in The Guardian). I consider myself a business-minded, impact-oriented as well as a human-centric person.

As a consultant, my approach is to actively listen to the client’s needs, dissect their issues and work with them to co-create impact-oriented solutions in projects and/or facilitation mandates. My mantra always was “less is more” and “impact over activity”. Also, it needs to be pragmatic. Something that I valued myself in my extremely busy People practice roles. In addition, I work as an Adjunct Professor in academia and therefore can add best practices and the latest research to the mix. Given my experiences, I also act ad interim in CPO/Global People leadership roles for SMEs and/or Start-ups.

I seek to understand the REAL need of any client by also asking the “uncomfortable” questions. I combine experiences in Direct Search as well as many years of assessing talent (Assessment Centers, Psychometrics, etc.). Therefore, I usually do not only look at the obvious but suggest – if possible/needed/the right thing to do – the not-so-obvious solution. In search, my mantra is to look at both sides, as we have 2 decision-makers – Company and Candidate at the same time. This means, that the match of both interests is absolute key.
